The Archives of Photogrammetry, Cartography and Remote Sensing (APCRS) has the rich tradition and it is published since 1994. It was established by few scientific organizations: Polish Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Polish Academy of Sciences - Section of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing as well as Section of Cartography, Association of Polish Cartographers and Polish Geographical Society - Section of Remote Sensing.

The scope and essence of our magazine is related to photogrammetry, cartography, remote sensing, GIS - broadly-understood as geomatics. The publisher of APCRS is the Main Board of Association of Polish Surveyors. Each paper in APCRS is double-blind reviewed. The quality of APCRS content is ensured by thematic, linguistic and statistical editors.
